Linda Hulett

Linda Hulett has served for 25 years in special education in public schools in various capacities as a classroom teacher, diagnostician, and teacher of the visually impaired.  During those years, she has attended hundreds of ARD meetings discussing children’s special needs and educational goals with their families and educational professionals.  Linda has certifications in the areas of Elementary Education, Elementary Reading, Generic Special Education, English as a Second Language, Educational Diagnostician, and Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments.

Linda was a special education teacher for 9 years, including: resource, coteach, content mastery and adaptive behavior.  She next worked as an Educational Diagnostician for 7 years testing for Learning Disability and Intellectual Disability. She got involved in the field of visual impairment after her son was diagnosed with a Cortical Visual Impairment in 2005, after which she returned to school to get her certification from SFA as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.  Linda then worked as an Educational Diagnostician specifically for students with Visual Impairments for the next 5 years. Last, she worked as a Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired for 4 years before taking an early retirement to stay home with her son to be his homeschool teacher since 2016.   Linda truly enjoys helping kids make progress to meet their full potential.
