2019-2020 TAPVI Elections Results

Thank you to all our members who responded to our email sent on May 19, 2019 to vote on our proposed slate of officers for this election – and congratulations to our new board members!
As noted in the email we sent out, we have three year terms, staggered, in order to ensure we maintain corporate knowledge and skills.  Some of our board members are currently in the middle of their terms and some have been newly elected.  When we elect a President-elect, that person serves for one year as the President-elect, and then automatically serves the 2nd year as President, and the 3rd year as Past-President.  All other positions are for three years in the same role.
Our fiscal year is July 01, 2019 – June 30, 2020, so the new positions take effect at that time.
Here is our proposed slate that was affirmed in our election:
~~~~~~~~~~~~  The 2019-2020 TAPVI Board is:  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
President:  Alison Smith, Houston – completing a previously elected position (2018-2021)
President-elect:  vacant (we are working to identify a candidate)
Secretary:  Terri Johnston Bailey, Luling – newly elected (2019-2022)
Treasurer:  Linda Hulett, Houston – remaining on the board (2017-2020)
We used PollJunkie to create the “survey” for our elections, and then mailed it to all contacts that we have in our member database.   This is a completely anonymous process, so we don’t know who voted and who did not, nor do we know the source of the write-ins.  We did not receive any other comments through the poll.  If you have any questions or comments, please direct them to the board member’s contact information on the Board page of this website.  Thank you for your participation and interest!
